The harbor is easy to enter. there may be quite a cross current, but that should not be a problem. The harbor is located right next to the old fishing port of Oudeschild. Here you will find the 'Kaap Skil' museum, which gives a good impression of the maritime history of the island of Texel.

This harbor is very sheltered and securely closed. Ideal in case you have to leave the boat behind (for a longer period of time).
The harbor is located behind a bridge that opens on request, every hour on the hour from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m
